This is a highly original vehicle with a green exterior and green interior. For those that don’t know why some G-Wagons were branded as Puch, they were all built in the same factory. However, in the agreement between Daimler-Benz AG and Steyr-Daimler-Puch it stipulated that G-Wagons sold in Austria, Switzerland, Yugoslavia and other select countries were called Puch and elsewhere, Mercedes-Benz. Perhaps surprisingly, the reason they did this was due to Puch’s reputation for its off road vehicles, the Haflinger and Pinzgauer, and having the Puch name in these countries would be considered beneficial over the Mercedes-Benz brand.
